The 2018 Gotham Classic came to a close on Tuesday.

At Notre Dame, the Fighting Irish’s defense held Duquesne to just 21-of-60 shooting from the field, including 6-of-27 from three, in capturing a 67-56 win in the Showcase Game of the Gotham Classic.

Notre Dame also forced 16 Dukes turnovers and blocked 10 shots in posting its third win in four Gotham Classic games. The loss was the first for Duquesne on the season.

John Mooney (pictured) led the Irish with 16 points, 10 rebounds and two blocked shots to win Most Outstanding Player honors. Prentiss Hubb had 14 points and T.J. Gibbs added 11 points and half of Notre Dame’s six steals. Juwan Durham netted four points and blocked three shots.

The Dukes were led by Tavian Dunn-Martin and his 14 points. Michael Hughes scored 10 points.

In Williamsburg, Va., Radford used a late run to win at William & Mary, 81-72.

With 6:29 to play, Nathan Knight’s dunk put the Tribe ahead, 68-67. However, the Highlanders would score 14 of the game’s final 17 points, starting with a Carlick Jones jumper at 5:39 to give Radford a 69-68 lead that would not be relinquished.

Jones led the Highlanders with 21 points for the night. Travis Fields Jr. had 12 points and Donald Hicks and Caleb Tanner each netted 10 points.

Knight led all scorers with 32 points to go with seven rebounds. Chase Audige scored 14 points and Jihar Williams had 10 points.
