Pacific garners Gotham Classic win

STOCKTON, Calif. – T.J. Wallace netted 20 points to lead Pacific to a 69-56 win over Kennesaw State, ending the Gotham Classic with a 2-2 record.
Wallace was 7-of-15 from the field to lead the Tigers, who improve to 5-7 on the season.
Up 37-34 at the half, Pacific burst out with a 19-7 run to start the second half and take a 56-41 lead. The Tigers held Kennesaw State to just 7-of-25 shooting from the field in the second stanza after the Owls shot 14-of-30 in the first half.
Joining Wallace in double figures for Pacific were Ray Bowles with 18 points and Jacob Lampkin with 12 points to go along with a game-high nine rebounds.
Kennesaw State (3-9) was led once again by Kendrick Ray who tallied 22 points. Ray entered the game ranked eighth nationally with a 23.1 ppg scoring average.
The Gotham Classic concludes on Thursday when Kennesaw State hosts North Carolina A&T and Rider travels to take on UMass. Both Rider and UMass are 3-0 in Gotham Classic play.
